In Search of the Truth
Canine Health Concern
Glare Media producer Brian James made
the original ITV World in Action film that
first brought Catherine’s O’Driscoll’s story
to a national television audience over
He and the Glare Media team worked
closely with CHC to make
‘In Search of the Truth about Dogs’,
a 40 minute DVD film highlighting the need
for better health care for dogs.
The 5-day shoot took place at various
locations throughout the UK, and features
interviews with vets, testimonials from
dog-owners, scientific research findings
and expert advice.
Music was specially composed for the
video, which helped set the mood and
pace of the film.
Glare Media have since re-versioned the
film for the US market where it has been
nominated for a national award.
“ This was a film that expressed grassroots concerns about what dog owners saw as a cover up by the monolithic Pet Food and Pharmaceutical industries over the issue of the damaging and sometimes fatal effects of their products on their pets.” Says Brian James
“It gave David a chance to challenge Goliath in an effective and articulate documentary.”
In Search of the Truth About Dogs
is a message of hope:
it’s easy to keep your dogs healthy.
